This convenient, on-the-go workout program is perfect both as a home workout and during a busy day at work.
Every exercise I post will hit all of your major muscle groups and will require no equipment or floor work. They’ll be based on Barre, Pilates, Yoga, resistance training, or corrective exercise.
One set is sixteen repetitions or, if we post a non-moving exercise, a twenty-second hold. If the exercise is one-sided, one side = one repetition. Ideally, the amount of time you spend on one set will be very short; try to spend at least thirty seconds on them, but none of the exercises will take more than a minute to complete.
Depending on your schedule, aim for one set every hour. I recommend setting a timer to help you remember!
If you can't do an exercise for sixteen repetitions just yet, no problem-work your way up to it! Feel free to add extra time or repetitions once you've hit this goal. Ideally, though, you won't be too out of breath or tired at the end of a set. The goal is convenience.
We'll post a new exercise on the 1st and 15th of every month. Update this app on your device's App store to get the new exercise.
To keep your body from getting bored, each exercise will provide different weight loss, strength, toning, stress relief, cardio, and flexibility benefits.
Try combining the muscle-toning and metabolism-building benefits of this workout with other exercise routines or other apps designed to keep you moving wherever you are, whether you're at home, at work, or traveling.
Please modify the exercises to whatever you can safely and comfortably do within your physical limitations. For example, feel free to hold on to a solid support if you have any balance issues. Check with your healthcare provider before beginning this program or if you have any injuries/medical conditions.
While this workout isn't going to take the place of a fitness program, it's a practical way to keep your muscles working and your metabolism going throughout your day. Remember, the little things add up!
