I'd like to point out a few particular advantages of small group personal training classes. Although my attention will be divided and there will not be the same level of privacy, training groups lend themselves toward an added level of camaraderie and accountability. Plus, clients with more practice and experience have the opportunity to encourage beginning members as they progress through their journey to better health. Also, since I will be traveling to the agreed-upon location, it's a great way to make fitness accessible for the whole family. Depending on your personal preferences, this type of training can be a great way to make exercise enjoyable.
For group classes, I conduct sessions of an hour with at least two people and a maximum of six. The flat rate for the session is $120.00, the payment of which is divided up equally between participants. Again, I can do either cash or check, and I accept female clients only at this time unless we're doing family training.
If it is your first session, welcome! Your first workout with us is free. Before you begin, I'll simply need you to indicate whether you have any injuries or other medical conditions, especially if they require a doctor's clearance, and to sign any preliminary paperwork.
The only requirements I have as far as location is a safe, convenient environment and my being able to obtain any necessary permissions to use the space. Other than that, I can be flexible as far as the focus and exercise styles I may decide to focus on within the group.
